Tree-mendous Love from the Manger to the Cross
Tree-mendous love from the manger to the cross is a unique presentation of the Bethlehem story and God's tree-mendous love. Using a play on words "tree-mendous love" and a Christmas tree, various classes will decorate the tree with ornaments that symbolize the great love God has for each of us. Through the play, a rather lonely and grouchy janitor of the church finds anew the joy of Christmas and has the opportunity to share it with a young street lad who sneaks into the church to find warmth and food. The young lad ends up finding much more. He finds the "tree-mendous love" God has for him.
